Respiratory@Home Service
We are pleased to offer the Respiratory@Home service to support our patients who may be experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or other respiratory conditions. This service is designed to provide timely treatment and monitoring for vulnerable patients, ensuring you receive the care you need from the comfort of your home.
COVID-19 Symptoms to Watch For:
- Cold/flu-like symptoms
- New, continuous cough
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
- Shortness of breath
In addition, you may also experience the following if you’re vulnerable and test positive for COVID-19:
- Loss of appetite
- Diarrhoea
- Feeling sick or being sick
How to Access the Service:
If you are experiencing symptoms and believe you might be eligible for treatment, you can self-refer to the Respiratory@Home service. Simply use the self-referral link below to check if you qualify for antiviral medication and further monitoring.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive instructions on the next steps to access treatment and monitoring.
Free Testing Kits:
Free Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) are available at participating community pharmacies for vulnerable individuals. You can find the nearest pharmacy offering these tests by visiting:
Support for Other Respiratory Conditions:
While the Respiratory@Home service is widely used for COVID-19 treatment, it is also available for those suffering from acute respiratory infections, including chronic conditions like COPD and asthma. If you need assistance, or would like to refer yourself for ongoing monitoring of your respiratory health, please visit the self-referral link above.
